July Field Trip – Relay for Life – 30th/31st July 2016

relay for life

2016 Relay for Life event will be held this Saturday 30th July & Sunday 31st July, 2016 at Barlow Park.
Mike Greasley (0459 239 869) the event co-ordinator has provided a brief for us – see below. Seek out Cancer Council committee members in their yellow shirts if you need assistance.
We will have a safe place to leave gear in the corporate area. Access to the roof will be restricted but we can get up there with an escort. Panoramas are best from there.

This a major fund raising event in the fight again cancer and it is a huge privilege to be part of the weekend.
There are 3 main time periods to be covered
  • Saturday12-4pm,
  • Saturday  4- 8 pm,
  • Sunday from Sunrise to 09.30am.

We want to capture both the scale of the event with some wide and scene setting shots but the primary focus would be the tight shots of teams and people as they take part and move through the various stages, physical and emotional, of the event.
There will be photo opportunities overnight as there will be people walking through the night for the night owls.
