Lenore maintains an art career that includes many solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally, and has works in the Queensland Art Gallery, regional galleries and private collections in Australia, Britain and the USA.

The topic will be:
GREAT THEMES RE-IMAGINED THROUGH THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography was a technique that entered the art world and was a profound catalyst that forever changed the scope of creativity.

It caused real concerns to some painters, became an essential tool to others, but ultimately freed artists to explore new ways of seeing and expressing.  All preconceptions of what ‘art was, and could be’ were questioned and continue to do so.

Great themes are eternal, and it was at an astonishing rate that photography became a commanding contemporary voice to those themes while creating the basis for astonishing different artistic movements.
