The new CPSI Forum is online!

E-mail Print

CPSI is proud to announce we now have our own online forum. Please register and have a look around. Once you see what it's all about I think you will realise what a wonderful collaboration tool it will be for the club. All members can "Post" and we encourage you to do so. You can access it from the "Forum" link in the top or side menu. Dean Phillips has kindly offered to be the day-to-day moderator of the forum so if you need help just send him a "PM" (Personal Message) or use the "Contact US" page. Once again the software comes courtesy of the wonderful open-source community.

If you would like to start posting your own photos for comments then you will need to join one of the many photo sharing sites. I have listed some below. Once you have your images online then you can just paste the URL into your "Post". If you need help with this just send Dean Phillips a "PM".

Photo sharing: http://www.flickr.com/ , http://picasa.google.com/ , http://www.imageshack.us/ , http://www.photobucket.com/ , http://www.smugmug.com/ , http://www.snapfish.com/ , http://www.zooomr.com/ just to name a few....

The registration process is as follows...

  • Click the "Forum" link from the menu
  • Then click the "Register" link on the far right side.
  • Read the terms then click "I Agree", assuming you do Smile
  • Then enter your username and password. Please use your full name so other members know who they are talking to: eg. Dean Phillips. You can add an avatar (pic) and signature (text) later on.
  • Please use the same email address that you have used on the website. This way I can authorize you easily.
  • Then type in the registration code as it appears in the pictures. This is to prevent SPAM.
  • Then click "Submit"
  • As the administrator has to authorise all new forum accounts, please allow 24 hrs.
  • Once authorised you will receive an email with an activation link. Just click this link and you will be taken to the forum to login.
  • Happy "Posting"
